What our visitors say
Posted on Rex LVerified A great location Stayed three nights and found everything to be more than satisfactory. Little disappointed that second TV was recording no signal and couldn't get Foxtel to work but not there for TV really. Clean (except for toaster) and would prefer doona to antique bedspread but otherwise very enjoyable stay.Posted on wayfarerVerified Better than expected, Stayed in Unit 16 which was a single bedroom deluxe unit...great views, amenities, complete kitchen, very nice dinning area just next to a huge window looking at the slopes and chairlifts...Cassandra was very helpful throughout our stay to make sure we feel like home...excellent parking and access. Bedroom, linen, toilet, everything very nice and clean... couldn’t complain about anything at all...will definitely visit again..Posted on 2Adults1CVerified Thredbo 31 Booked apartment Thredbo 31 (part of this complex) through Booking.com. It was expensive (for 2 adults and 1 child) but a fairly big 2 storey, one bedroom apartment with dedicated parking space just outside. We were on the upper level so it was just 75 steps down through the Squatters Run complex to the main strip with bakery, shop and restaurants - very convenient location. The sign on the back of the front door said that for H&S (fire) reasons only 2 people were permitted to sleep in the apartment, which was a bit perplexing! It was a little dusty and the safe battery needed changing (we reported it but it didn’t get fixed), but otherwise fine.Posted on kalexander170Verified Lovely luxurious accommodation This property is stunning. An incredible view, perfect location and luxurious renovation. Comfortable bed, beautiful linen, heated floors, easy drying room access, washing machine and dryer and fully self contained this property has everything we needed . Jackie and Luke were wonderful hosts and were incredibly helpful with any questions we had.Posted on GreatTravellingVerified Perfect location, view of mountain and all the comforts The apartment was well furnished, generous kitchen fitout. We loved the balcony which looked onto the village main street. Note that this does mean you can hear people in the street late at night having fun! Well setup for skiers and summer walkers like us.Posted on Martin OVerified Five nights in Thredbo for New Years Eve. - A fabulous break for the family! We were looking for some family time away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney and all its electronic attractions for our kids. Being familiar with Thredbo in winter, I was curious as to how we would go in Summer. We booked the Squatters Run apartment knowing we would have parking on site plus the fact that it was central to the town square. ( our apartment actually overlooked the main square). Let me say that we had a fantastic time at the Squatters Run and would recommend it and Thredbo to anyone looking for a great family break over the Christmas/ New Year holiday. The accommodation was first class with all the mod cons and self catering facilities available. It was a great bonus to be so central that we managed to forget the car for most of the week. We spent our time absorbed in the atmosphere of the alpine village during summer. If you can manage it when the weather is accommodating, we would highly recommend the Mt Kossie summit walk. Our kids highly recommend the disc golf as well as the leisure centre. A huge thank you to the Squatters Run as well as Thredbo for putting on such a great time over the New Years break. We will be back!!!Posted on Christobel DVerified Brilliant place to stay This was such a wonderful place for us visiting Mount Kosciuszko with views to the ski lift. The accommodation had excellent facilities and we were very comfortable. The balcony overlooked the town centre but was quite secluded. The curtains operate by button - very useful in that location. Jackie is very efficient and helpful making our stay in Little Nanook very enjoyable.Posted on JackieA37Verified Stayed Twice and will be back the location, administration, accommodation are fantastic! The staff are fantastic to deal with and there isn't anything that i can fault - on both occasions. My first visit was with my son who was competing in the Interschool Downhill Mountain Bike Competition and we hired the studio loft. We were impressed and when the decision was made to go as a family for another Mountain Bike Event we didn't hesitate to hire the 2 bedroom unit. It is central to all the facilities and parking is easy.
